The Vocational Training Development Fund (FDFP) has in association with Côte d’Ivoire’s regions and districts assembly officially launched the project to assist farmers in farming entrepreneurship and value chain creation.
In palm club, Cocody the convention was signed by mister AKA Aoulé, Chairman of the Economic, Social, Cultural and environmental council ( CESEC) on Thursday july , 28th 2022 and the Secretary General of FDFF Mister N’DRI Philippe.
The initiative aims at women’s entrepreneurship and poverty defeat. In the long run 3,300 farmers from 13 regions will take adventage of capacity building in production, packaging and marketing.
Apart from decentralization reinforcement, the project will contribute to (the) domestic economy dynamization, famers revenue increase, and creation of job oppportunities for women and youngsters. It also represents one of Côte d’Ivoire’s economic development pillar.
‘‘We have a great responsability, for the continuation of the programme will depend upon the results obtained’’ He said .
Mr Aka Aoulé urges his members to fully toil for the project’s proper process so as to assist investments to fulfil. He has even exhorted them to a good result.’’ We should work together with all men committed in the present program to get a good result which will efficiently and sustainably contribute to the betterment of population’s living condition.
Mr Sangare Moustapha, cabinet Director representing the ministry of technical and vocational Education, stated that the program is an answer to PND and National Agriculture Investment Program’s ( PNIA) Objectives.
According to him, the program will in a long term lead to the professionalization of agriculture which steps through a paradigm pending change to make farmers take advantage of their activity.
A good training is the key to good social integration.
